Have created some ideas for potential positives to use for screen printing. I like how changing the size of some of these images with the same halftone values affects the ambiguity of them. This could be quite a fun thing to play around with. I also took scans of some of my record covers and created patterns from them on photoshop. These came up with a good selection of positives to choose from. I like these graphic images but thinking for this run of prints I really want to experiment with a renaissance work and potentially with a CMYK process as I think I could gather quite a variety of prints from that as using four different layers.
Below I generated some mockups of potential prints I could create with the type/vinyl positives. Look really nice and I like when the text starts to lose it's meaning a bit as the image is broken down due to manipulation of layers. Obviously in the publication I plan to create it's important that the information is still legible but can be somewhat distorted. So maybe prints like these could be developed and work well as the accompanying posters?
