Following this crit I feel quite ready to get underway with visual ideas for this project. Two outcomes of this crit that particularly stuck out to me was firstly, time management, which I need to really implement into this brief in order to get the most out of it and myself. Secondly, to be aware of not generalising or appropriating any cultures through the visual representation of them. This will be something I am constantly thinking of throughout the project, and talking/reviewing with peers and tutors in order to maintain an appropriate visual consistency throughout the project in this respect.
Paul Rand is an illustrator/designer that I have been meaning to look into for a while so I will definitely carry out some research into his work following this.
