Instead of using the typefaces that I had previously posted, we decided to try creating a custom typeface using the shape that has been used for the foundation of imagery within the book. This worked really successfully and has helped to link the type visually with the rest of the book, creating a theme that carries throughout the publication. Using this shape has given a style to the type that links well with the story, the feathered like edges of the type work well to suggest a sense of freedom and travel.
